In the cosy Restaurant Reutemann we spoil you all day with selected regional and international cuisine. Also for the small hunger in between our menu offers fresh palate joys.

Directions

Hotel Reutemann / Seegarten is easy to reach by train, car or plane.

By train: Get off at "Hauptbahnhof Lindau"

By car: From the A96 motorway, exit at "Lindau" and follow the signs to "Lindau Insel" (Lindau Island). After crossing the bridge, stay on the main road. Drive past the "Inselhallen" parking lot and turn left in front of the Hypo Vereinsbank. Then drive to the train station, which is opposite the hotel. Hotel Reutemann / Seegarten is right next to it.

By plane: Friedrichshafen Airport is only 25 km (30 minutes by car) away. The airports of Memmingen (70 km / 45 minutes), Munich (210 km / 2 hours), Stuttgart (210 km / 2 hours) and Zurich (140 km / 1.5 hours) are also good options.

Differing cancellation conditions

Cancellation conditions:
For a stay of 1-5 nights a free cancellation is possible until 16:00 (local time) the day before arrival. For a stay of 6 nights or more, a free cancellation is possible up to 7 days before the date of arrival. After that date we will charge 90 % of the total price of the stay including breakfast. Cancellations are only possible in writing or via our homepage.

Cancellations must be communicated to us in writing.

Tourist tax information

Guarantee conditions: 
Your reservation must be guaranteed by a valid credit card (including expiry date). In case of a guaranteed reservation, arrival is also possible after 18 hrs (local time). The hotel reserves the right to authorize the credit card before arrival.

Terms of payment: A deposit is not required. The credit card will be checked before arrival to guarantee the booking. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners).

What did you like?

Das Hotel hat die bestmögliche Lage am See. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer direkt auf die Hafeneinfahrt ist ein Traum. Das Personal ist vom Empfang bis zur Raumpflege sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Ich fühlte mich bestens aufgehoben.

What didn't you like?

Der Service im Restaurant (Außenbereich) war am Sonntag Abend (03.05.2026) sehr mangelhaft. Der Kellner hat mich eine Stunde lang nicht wahrgenommen. Als ich ihn darauf ansprach, dass ich gerne etwas bestellen möchte, reagierte er ungehalten, nahm meine Bestellung jedoch sofort auf und erledigte sie. Alles in allem war das Servicepersonal an diesem Abend eher unfreundlich.

What did you like?

Die Lage ist grandios und die Aussicht mit dem Balkon in unserem Zimmer war wunderschön.

What didn't you like?

Das Personal ist unfreundlich,das Frühstücksbuffet entspricht nicht dem Preis des Hotels. Die Brötchen waren stets „gummig“, 2 Sorten Brot, täglich die selbe Wurst und mit Glück hatte es noch Käse. Hier besteht Handlungsbedarf. Die Dusche befindet sich in der Badewanne und das Ein und Aussteigen ist deshalb schwierig. Die Halterung der Dusche war defekt. Einen Tag hatten wir die Badewanne voller Gipsstücke als wir ins Zimmer kamen (vermutlich von Vögeln, die von Aussen durch die Lücken geflogen sind). Vom Hotel kam nicht einmal da eine Entschuldigung oder eine Erklärung. Bei der Abreise kein Dankeschön oder eine Nachfrage, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit war. Das Hotel ist extrem ringhörig. Wir mussten zwei Mal reklamieren, weil am Morgen um 6 Uhr und in der Nacht um 23.00 Uhr das TV Gerät dermassen laut war. Auch hier, keine Entschuldigung.

Gewünschte Lage am Hafen, Zugang zur Altstadt. War das letzte mal vor 60 Jahren dort. Gutes Frühstück: beste Spiegeleier ever!!
