Description

Hotel Bad Schachen is a very special place. Firstly, it boasts a fantastic location right on the shore of Lake Constance – on the best side of the lake, namely south facing! Not only can you enjoy a wonderful view of the lake, but also the panoramic backdrop of the Austrian and Swiss Alps. The hotel building nestles amid vast park-like grounds with a spacious lakeside lido, a private boat jetty and a stunning terrace. Nearly all our rooms have south-facing windows or balconies – so you can savour the lake and mountain views as you drift off to sleep or as soon as you awake in the morning.

Directions

From Munich: Take the A96 towards Lindau via Memmingen.
From Stuttgart: Take the A8 to the Ulm/Elchingen junction, then take the A7 towards Memmingen/Kempten. From Memmingen, take the A96 towards Lindau.
From Zurich: Take the motorway towards Winterthur/St. Gallen/St. Margrethen. If you have a vignette for the Austrian motorway (vignettes are available at the border crossing), take the Lustenau exit (border crossing) to Austria shortly after St. Margrethen, then take the Rheintal motorway. Drive through the Pfändertunnel towards Lindau.
If you do not have a vignette, take the St. Margrethen/Bregenz exit and drive through Bregenz towards Lindau.
Lindau: Coming from the A96 motorway or from Austria, take the first roundabout towards Lindau Insel, at the traffic light junction towards Nonnenhorn/Wasserburg (right lane), at the second roundabout go straight ahead to Bad Schachen. Follow Wackerstraße and Schachener Straße, turn left into the driveway to Hotel Bad Schachen.
From Friedrichshafen: Take the B31 towards Lindau, exit at Kressbronn, in Kressbronn head towards Wasserburg/Lindau, in Enzisweiler take the first exit on the roundabout to the right towards Bad Schachen. Cross the railway tracks, after approx. 100 m turn left into Enzisweilerstraße. After approx. 500 m, turn right, after 200 m turn left into the driveway to Hotel Bad Schachen.
